Why You Should Be Outraged by Medicaid Cuts

It’s the first sip of coffee for the day. I might need another one after this because I have two videos, and wait till you see the second one. Disturbing is all I’m going to say. But first, let’s talk about yesterday’s vote in the House regarding Medicaid funding—or what it really is, Medicaid cuts.

Listen to this podcast.

You Should be Furious with the Medicaid Cuts

Imagine you go through your partner’s cell phone and see all these text messages where it’s clear they are flirting with another person. They haven’t cheated yet; they haven’t taken that next step to meet that person for a cup of coffee. Maybe there have been no provocative photos or sexting, just text messages.

When you confront your partner, their defense is “I didn’t cheat.” Well, yeah, he or she didn’t cheat. It was just the first step; it doesn’t mean anything, right? No, you would be furious because that first step was taken!

As I’ve mentioned before, maybe mass resignations are the answer. Sometimes, legally, federal employees cannot strike depending on their position, but that’s going to have to be the next step, as the chaos has to end!

But you have to ask yourself that simple question: Why would they even take the first step to cut Medicaid funding?

Enjoy your cup of coffee and get ready for round two because the next blog post is disturbing.
