U.S. Bankruptcy Court: District of Nebraska
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska serves the entire state with two primary staffed locations in Omaha and Lincoln, and a divisional venue in North Platte for hearings. Counties Served by Each Division
The District of Nebraska is generally split into an Eastern and Western focus for hearing convenience, though all filings are processed through a centralized system.
- Omaha Division: Serving the highly populated eastern corridor, including Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Dodge, Washington, and surrounding counties.
- Lincoln Division: Serving Lancaster, Saunders, York, Seward, and the central-east counties.
- North Platte Venue: Serving the western counties such as Scotts Bluff, Lincoln, Dawson, and the Panhandle region.
