Redbox Shuts Down: Files for Bankruptcy

Redbox, the popular DVD kiosk rental business, is shutting down after its parent company, Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, filed for bankruptcy.

Bob Dylan Was Right

Okay, I’m back. Dylan captured the frustration, the anger, and the concerns of a generation with those powerful lyrics that ring as true now as it does then. With that being said, the times are changing.

Redbox Files for Bankruptcy

My mother passed away last year, but what I would give for her chicken soup right now. Even as the temperature outside hits triple digits, her chicken soup always hit the right spot. But I guess that proves Dylan right: the times are changing.

My mom was okay one minute, then not the next. The only constant we have in life is change; somehow, we must learn to adapt. Redbox didn’t. Personally, I’ve had my DVDs and DVD player in a box in a garage for some time now. If I stopped using DVDs, how many other people did as well?
