California Bankruptcy Court Eastern District
The California bankruptcy court system is divided into four separate districts: Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern districts.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of California covers the following counties: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra County, Siskiyou, Solano, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, County, Yolo County, and Yuba.
The bankruptcy court has divisions in Sacramento, Modesto, and Fresno to serve these counties.

Note that the Bankruptcy Court in Bakersfield holds hearings, but there is no staffed Clerk’s Office. Any documents should be mailed or filed in the Fresno Division.
