Professor’s Important Note

Local practice in the Eastern District of North Carolina is governed by district‑specific Local Bankruptcy Rules, standing administrative orders, and judge‑level procedural guidance. Because these requirements evolve over time, filers should confirm all current rules and chambers instructions on the district’s official website before submitting any petition or motion.

Bankruptcy.blog also provides supplemental resources, including articles and guides on filing for bankruptcy, including step-by-step videos to assist practitioners, students, and pro se filers researching bankruptcy practice nationwide.
