The Western District of Oklahoma operates as a single‑division with the courthouse located at 215 Dean A. McGee Ave., Room 147, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. All bankruptcy petitions, whether Chapter 7 or 13, are filed and processed through the Oklahoma City Clerk’s Office.

Filing Fees in 2026

Bankruptcy filing fees are the same in each district and can be paid electronically through CM/ECF using Pay.gov. Pro se filers may pay by cashier’s check or money order at the Clerk’s Office. Personal checks are not accepted. The current filing fees are below:

Filing Fee Options

Debtors filing under Chapter 7 may request to pay the filing fee in up to four installments, with the final payment due within 120 days of filing. The court may extend this deadline to 180 days for good cause.

A Chapter 7 fee waiver may be granted if the debtor meets both requirements under 28 U.S.C. §1930(f), if the debtor’s household income is below 150% of the federal poverty guideline, and the debtor cannot pay the fee in installments.

For households with more than eight members, an additional $710 is added per household member.

How to Monitor Your Bankruptcy Case

After filing, you can track your case through PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records), the federal judiciary’s online system for accessing bankruptcy and other federal court dockets. Most documents cost $0.10 per page; however, that is after you have spent more than $30 per quarter.

PACER allows you to:

  • Review court filings;
  • View documents filed by the trustee, creditors, or the court;
  • Monitor deadlines and hearing dates.
